Members of the Society or university students of nutrition programme who are interested to participate in the symposia or poster sessions are invited to submit abstracts (not more than 250 words) for presentation in the free paper presentation or poster sessions of the Conference
Abstracts can be related to any of the following symposia topics or any relevant topic in food and nutrition.
All abstracts submitted for consideration for presentation at the Conference must be according to the prescribed format given in the Guidelines for Abstract Preparation (downloadable)
Limited to 1 abstract submission per individual.
Open to postgraduate students from all institutions presenting recent studies in food and human nutrition
Only final-year Nutrition undergraduate students from the following universities with nutrition programmes are eligible:
Submission. All abstracts must be submitted through the portal. All submitted abstracts, once accepted, will be available in full on the conference website for an indefinite period.
Confirmation of abstract submission. Once the abstract is successfully submitted, the presenting author will receive an e-mail with the submitted abstract through the e-mail address provided.
Important Notice
All poster presenters MUST register for the conference and pay the required fees BEFORE the conference. Please follow the instructions and payment procedures at the NSM Conference website: https://www.nsmconference.org.my
All posters shall be printed on A0 size material in portrait orientation and mounted on exhibition boards in a designated area in Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Please check the conference website for the exact poster exhibition area.
Abstracts received for poster presentation will be grouped into one of the following categories, depending on the area of focus.
Posters prepared for presentation must be of a standard size of A0, portrait. Each poster must include the following information:
Place a photograph of the presenting author, measuring about 7 x 10 cm at the top right corner.
Student poster presenters who are taking part in poster competitions must include their supervisor(s) as authors.
Please check for conference updates, including the latest scientific programme on the conference website indicated above. Posters accepted for display will be announced on the conference website closer to the conference date.
